How laser hair removal works:
Laser hair removal uses a laser that distributes intense pulsed light to a targeted area. With each treatment, the hair will grow back less course, and the settings are adjusted so that each treatment targets the hair for the applicable stage it’s in.
With each pulse of the laser, the laser light converts to heat, and the heat is absorbed by each hair’s dark pigment (called melanin) in the follicle, which damages the hair follicle and prevents it from growing. A puff of cryogen, a liquid gas used to cool the skin, is released onto your skin milliseconds before each pulse of the laser, which makes the treatment very comfortable and painless. Not all providers use a laser with the cryogen feature. At Renew MedSpa, we do It’s the difference between a comfortable and an uncomfortable treatment.
What areas of the body can be treated?
Nearly any part of your body can be treated safely and comfortably, including brow, lip, chin, face, neck, arms, legs, back, bikini, Brazilian, underarms, stomach, and chest.
How many treatments will you need?
For optimal results, you will need from 5 to 8 treatments, and results vary by individual.

How long does a laser hair removal session take?
A session takes anywhere from 5-20 minutes and depends on the area we are treating. The treatments is quick, comfortable, and there’s no down time.
